Recommending Person: Ryan Sullivan

Reason for Listening: Modest Mouse got bigger (at least on the radio) in the last few years. Their older albums really had awesome lyrics. Some of the lyrics are god damned poetry. I was considering their first album ("This is a Long Drive for Someone with Nothing to Think About"), but's more depressing, but not in an obvious way. This album is more cynical than it is depressing. I think there are more quality lyric snippets in this record.
